So I popped in my Pokemon X game after months of not playing, and found out that some crappy Pokemon I threw in the GTS was successfully traded for a Lugia. lmao whoo. Of course, this Lugia doesn't have the blue pentagon thing, and I'm not sure if that means it is an illegitimate Pokemon, but whatever. I still want a Mew super bad, but don't know how to go about getting one (I'd hack one if I knew how).

Anyone still playing Pokemon?

I only started a few weeks ago. Too busy w/ school and work before that.

I'm still playing Black. I have quite some catching up to do. Still not sue I want to buy a 3DS, though.

I'm still working on collecting all 718 pokemon on my copy of X. It's going to take a while. I'm also playing through Black. I finished the main storyline and now I'm collecting some of the older pokemon that weren't available before.

I got a ton of Pokemon through Wondertrade - though I think I exhausted most of the ones that are reasonably possible to get through it. But I got so many more than I thought I would, I think most of the Kalos Pokemon at least.

But I don't think I've even hit 500 yet...

I loved Wondertrade for a while but I've given up on it now because of what you said. I just checked and apparently I'm at 589.

I really want to play all the Pokemon games, which would make it easy to transfer over all the rare ones to the latest version, but even that isn't as easy as it sounds because I have no money so it's going to take almost as long to collect all the games as it is to get the pokemon.

I'm currently playing through HeartGold and X, although HeartGold is making much quicker progress because it's my favourite.

Yes! Just beat Primal Dialga in Explorers of Sky today, I've been working on that battle on and off since 2012. I think the game appreciated its pretty new Pokemon-themed carrying case.

in a way I'm always playing Pokemon - sometimes I got on hiatus for a few months, but when I get drawn back it it's like rediscovering the Best Thing Ever all over again

I'm still working through Y, I've been reaaaaaaly slow with playing it but I am never super-speedy at completing them anyway. Plus I've got to level up a sodding water or grass Pokémon for the gym I'm currently going after so I've got to gear up for a bit of grinding for when I do play(and finding a Pokémon I want to use).

Pentagon means it was caught or bred in Kalos. It'd be suspicious if Lugia DID have a pentagon. It could still be hacked, but whatever.

Anyway, I'm in "Let's breed ALL the Pokemon" postgame stage in X. I'm breeding SUPER DWEBBLE. Going for a good IV spread female, Adamant with Wide Guard/Spikes/Counter/Night Slash for funsies.

inb4 "no one likes Dwebble but you" ;__;

True story: I was offloading some Dwebble breeding rejects yesterday on Wondertrade... and I got one of them sent back to me through WT. I laughed out loud when I saw "Welcome back, Dwebble!"

That's good to know! Though there's one other thing about this Lugia, though I'm not sure if it's related or not. You know in your Pokedex, or even when you're in the GTS and looking up Pokemon, the Pokemon you own have like a red and blue shape by their name, whereas Pokemon you don't own have nothing. Lugia doesn't have that symbol, instead, it has a Pokeball image next to its name.

I have no idea if this is the only non-Kalos Pokemon I own, as I don't personally own the other games and got my other Pokemon through trades. But I never noticed that Pokeball symbol before.

dwebble is one of my faves, you're not alone!

I got distracted by Bravely Default but I'm tempted to start up again. Congrats on the Lugia, they're super cute in PokemonAmi.

I just completed making a living pokedex (ie. one copy of every Pokemon in the Bank, minus the three XY secret legends) and now I'm trying to breed some competitive Pokemon. Once I'm done with that I'll probably play through one of the older games again.

I'm doing a good and bad thing at the same time.

I'm using Action Replay to turn "junk Pokemon" I get over wondertrade into shiny versions that might get love from someone that would just throw them away for being useless.

I do something similar when I'm bored.

I level up the Pokémon I get so they're strong and stuff and then send them back out.

I've got two games I've been playing, actually! I do all my playing on emulators though. I've got an Emerald game with randomizer and a Soul Silver game. Mostly SS right now. The Emerald randomizer is something I found existed only a couple months ago and I HAD to try it because R/S/E is my favorite gen but I've played the games so long that I was getting bored. SS I'm only 4 gyms into on my first ever run-through and although the emulator is slow as tits I LOVE it. The Pokemon FOLLOW YOU AROUND AND YOU CAN INTERACT WITH THEMMMMM <3 I'm really really happy about the R/S reboot and I just hope so bad that they add in the pokemon following you thing.

Aww, I skipped all the gens between Red/Blue and Gold/silver, then right to X and Y. I wish the Pokemon could follow you around in X and Y!

I just started on Pokemon Y (I've almost completed my Pokedex in X!) a few days ago and I've been switching back and forth between it and Black 2 every so often ever since. X is my "main" game at the moment, as I've transferred all of my Pokemon from previous gens ( some of them dating all the way back to a Sapphire game I started in '04, and some of which came from Colosseum and Gale of Darkness), which frees up all previous game gens to be replayed. I like to take characters I've been making up for original stories and play as them in various games, including Pokemon. It helps me flesh out their personalities.

Tl;dr: I'm a huge nerd, of course I'm playing Pokemon.

Oh, nice! :D I actually just got Lugia in my dex as well, although that was from temporarily trading legendaries with a friend for dex data before sending them back. In terms of legendaries, I THINK I'm only lacking the Regis (all four), Latios, and Shaymin, and the ones I still need to transfer over from gen 5 (Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem, the Musketeer quartet, Heatran, and the Sinnoh Creation trio from that distro a few months back), now?

But yeah, I'm definitely still playing. After months of not working on it, I'm finally actively working on filling in my dex - got a majority seen (something in the vicinity of 120-140 seen for Coastal and Mountain, and about 550 for National), but my Acquired is all over the place for Coastal and Mountain, only about 70-80, and I think around 400 for National. I did just complete Central today, though! (Friend sent me a Delcatty :) )
