Did anyone actually still hear from that girl/guy yesterday? It seems like some people were finally getting through? I just hope one of us might have made them rethink it...

I wanted to say you were great yesterday. I didn't comment because I'm really uncomfortable with talking about feelings and I thought I wouldn't add anything worthwhile, but it was nice to see people care so much.
Actually most people were great, but I do remember you and Stella (I usually like her so no surprise here) being really great.

I...try. I'm no therapist, I can only offer life experiences, however subjective. I just hope something got through.

I think hearing/reading about personal experiences can sometimes be more helpful in a way, knowing you're not the only one struggling and that it can get better. I had a friend who was suicidal and nobody took them seriously - let's say that it didn't end up well - so I'm kinda sensitive when it comes to this topic.

It's on of those things that can genuinely get to me. I wouldn't say it's a "trigger" but depending on the situation, it can really affect me. And not just because of myself, either.

Nothing since their last comment on the thread last night, which I saw you replied to as well. Anon, if you're reading this, I hope you'll talk to someone, whether it's one of us here, someone you know IRL, or a professional or helpline. My offer to talk still stands, and I care about what happens to you, even though I only know a little about you.

I asked them if it was okay to post an update. I hope they'll want to continue talking, even though they're having a hard time seeing a way out of their situation.

Ah, okay. Still, that they are open to discussing it is progress, and something they should feel good about and be proud of. Every step counts!

I hope they continue to talk about it too, either with you or someone else. From the looks of that thread they've been through a lot (unfairly) and just need to realize that what was done to them wasn't okay but they can overcome it. (And deserve to.)
