(Anonymous) 2014-05-26 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)He's the mind-clone of her (unrequited) crush from three years ago, she's the closest to treating him like an actual person of the cast. Clearly a match made in heaven. ...yeah, I'm not sure either, I just really like it.
Hero/Partner from the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers series. (In my case, that's Skitty/Shinx.)
I'm the anon in the Pokemon thread who beat Primal Dialga today and played through the end cutscene. Any relationship where one party's grief over losing the other convinces the god of time to restore them to life is pretty serious, and I like the idea of it ending up romantic.
Jayfeather/Briarlight from Warriors
This one's pretty standard grumpy-guy-and-cheerful-girl with the added benefit that he's the setting's equivalent of the town doctor and she's a paraplegic, so they're interacting a lot. (For context, they're all feral cats.) It's all kinds of screwed up, but I like it anyway. Also, I'll never have to worry about them breaking up in the series, because the author has moved away from their temporal setting without even getting them together.
