Speaking of, there's going to be fifty new five minute shorts for Tenchi Muyo to promote tourism in October! I'm so excited for more Ryoko!!!

Tenchi/Ryoko will always have a special place on my heart. I still ship it so damn hard, you don't even know.

I hope Ai Orikasa returns as Ryoko! Is it odd that I'm more excited for this than Sailor Moon Crystal? I loved them both as a kid, but I had the biggest crush on Ryoko and both her and Tenchi Muyo meant so damn much to me.

I will read even the dorkiest fics for them. Seriously. Plus my first fic ever was Tenchi Muyo and it was going to be RyoTen and it was awful. Technically I still plan out fic for Ryoko, since she's my self-indulging character, but I don't actually write it down because yooooooo my self-indulgent fics tend to be really fucking bad and she deserves better. |D

Do you have any recs? I don't care if they're bad, guilty pleasure fics or well written. I need my Tenchi/Ryoko fix. Oh my god, me too! I don't write fic, but I daydream about Ryoko going out on all the adventures and it is completely self-induglent. She is who I wanted to be when I grew up. God, why is she so awesome? I could fangirl and squee all day over her!

Me either! The scenery in Tenchi Muyo was gorgeous and I kinda want to go there now.

Okay, so, Passion Isn't Really Happiness was one of my favs, ~~and I kind of sort of printed it out when I was a kid so I could reread it~~. Does involve suicidal ideation, though, so heads up.

Summary: Tenchi makes Ryoko promise she won't leave, but he also wishes she could be more like Ayeka, more calm, less "phasing into the bathroom to watch you use it". She figures, she can't change who she is, but she also promised she wouldn't leave, so she instead tries to get Washu to help her take a third option, hence the warning. Instead Washu and her end up bonding, and there are some parts that are a little weird but... Ryoko! And Tenchi! And fabulous ridiculousness with a Walkmans!

That's right! THis is a SONG FIC since Washu gives Ryoko the grand prize of a... WALKMAN. :D

The Bet/The Gamble/The Pledge/The Challenge was/is my fav Ryoko/Tenchi fic series. Washu makes a bet with Ryoko that she can get Ryoko and Tenchi together, but it will involve Ryoko hanging out with Washu. So she does. Gardening ensues.

No seriously, gardening. They make a garden out of a spaceship how fucking cool is that.

But yes, Ryoko marries Tenchi, they fights gods, they become emperor and empress of Jurai (well, corulers with Ayeka and her husband), and I think Ryoko goes back to school in this one? This one or PIRH.

IT'S RIDICULOUSLY CHEESY. But there are rocking chairs with Ryo-Ohki on them, and goddess-fights and basically I love this series, even though it is quite honestly cheesy as fuck.

I don't even know what to say. Oh my god, this sounds like utter perfection. Perfection, I tell you!!! It basically has everything I could ever want and more! Washu and Ryoko bonding, Tenchi and Ryoko being badass rulers, and it all started with a bet. I think I'm in love. I'm going to read this now.
