1. Daleks.

4. Some villain that's supposed to be creepy and atmospheric, that gets rendered down to a joke plot after being reused eleventy billion times.

5. Cybermen twice more.

6. Daleks. Regardless if they were destroyed or not the last two times.

I just want to see what Peter does with the Doctor. At this point, I've stop caring about the plot because it's better than being continuously disappointed by them.

Nothing wrong with this, OP. I for one am ridiculously excited, but there are plenty of vocal fans who don't like Moffatt's era. This doesn't really need to be a secret. In fact, around here liking Moffatt's stuff is less popular than disliking it.

Good for you! Personally I don't know if I'll bother to watch, even though I like Peter Capaldi as an actor, it's just that I have started to dislike the Doctor Who character since 10. He has just become too selfish and full of himself.

At least some fans like you are still excited by the show. That's good, I guess: it's not like I have any personal animosity against Moffat or Davies like so many seem to have: I just don't care about the character itself anymore. :(

Wow. It took me until everyone else started commenting to understand what was going on this picture. I thought it was some androgynous being with weird ropey tentacle-ish things coming out of his or her hands, and that he or she was gonna start waving them around and strangling people with them. So my guess was 'American Horror Story.'

Now that people have mentioned 'Doctor Who,' I'm like, OH! Oh, that's what's going on. Okay. And I'm also like wtf brain how did you do that.

The more I think about it, the more I think that they should have wrapped up the whole show with season 5 of the reboot. It was a very natural end to the Doctor's character arc. Well, actually, the perfect end would have been the end of season 1 of the reboot, but that would never have happened.

The fact that I'm even allowing myself to *think* this, instead of "The Doctor will continue on forever!!!!!!" shows how much this show has gone to shit.

Yeah, I like Capaldi, but I can't bring myself to care about Who anymore until Moffat leaves. :( And to think of the projects Capaldi had to abandon for this job ... it just leaves me forever bitter.

You know, I give a crap either way. So Moffat's stories are full of holes and crap? I'll watch it for sake of some simple entertainment and leave it to fandom to analyze it to death.

I feel like I'm alone on this, but Matt was my favourite Doctor to date and Capaldi was number 1 on my DNW list, so I'm equally not looking forwards to this summer, but for different reasons to everyone else I've ever spoken to.

I am terrified of trying to enjoy this new season coming up. Like honestly freaked out that people on Tumblr are going to inadvertley dampen my squee and try and tell me I'm anti-feminism/sexist/misogynistic because I am a female that enjoy's Moffat's work. I know I am going to be shamed by so many people and all I want to do is to enjoy my god damn TV show.
