That depends, doesn't it? I have felt empathy for some killers before, but when it comes to some, I haven't felt any.

Sometimes people do horrible things not because something bad as happened to them, but because they're horrible people.

So, since you're an all-or-nothing sort, what's the alternative? No one is accountable or responsible for their actions? If you consistently choose to do rotten things, without there being any good environmental or situational reason for it, then somehow it's still not your fault?
