Maybe because the pain factor is a turn on?

I'm sure it is for some, but I'm pretty sure it's just bad, cliched writing in most of these stories. These aren't just PWP stories that pull this, and sometimes the sex even fades to black, like a "that character tops, the end!" parting shot. It's weird.

I'm game, mind sharing some of those fics? Particularly the fad to black ones. I love a cheesy, badfic every now and then.

I'll see if I can find some for you. They're everywhere, but obviously I haven't bookmarked many.
