I always give fake names at Starbucks. People get my real name wrong all the time, and it's fun, like having a new identity for a little while. Plus I can see how the barista will mangle the fake name.

I should give fake names at Starbucks. I have a fairly common name with a slightly uncommon spelling (third most common spelling of my name). People have spelled it like they have never heard the name before.

Then you can battle everyone in the Starbucks in combat to the death.

As a former barista, it's not really a big deal. It's kind of nice when people give a out there name, it's a lot of fun. Especially if someone names themselves Myxlplyx, and you call them Xylplxym, and they give you the "Eeey!" And it's a good day all around.
