Just because you keep saying it is fictional does not excuse its use as a way to normalize rape culture. If you support the fic, even with the attempted justification of it being fiction or only reading the "good" ones, you are still endorsing a vehicle for rape-normalization. You are supporting rape by default.

here's my argument for why it's not: people who write it are not trying to do that and there is a massive gap between the A/B/O world and the real world

You just called a rape survivor [and someone who actively works to increase awareness about rape/rape culture] a horrible horrible person who supports rape!...because they pointed out that fiction=/= reality and that some fics take that particular idea in a way that doesn't turn it into rape.
