They aged EVERYONE up a lot. Sandor was 29 or 30 when last seen. Littlefinger is 32. Jaime and Cersei are 34 and Tyrion is 26. Ned and Cat were both 35 at their deaths.

Brienne is 19 when we first meet her in Renly's Kingsguard, and he was 21 at his death. And speaking of the Baratheon brothers, Stannis should be only 36 (argh, this one in particular drives me crazy)!

To be fair on the whole Stannis thing, the man does act a hell of a lot older. When I was first reading the books, my mental image was of Anthony Stewart Head.

That said, it is a rather lame excuse, and even as a book reader I sometimes forget that Stannis isn't the oldest Baratheon brother.

Ooh, thank you so much for confirmation on Brienne's age. I always read her as closer to Sansa and Margaery than Catelyn and Jaime, but lots of people had me thinking I'd gotten that wrong.
