I had sex for the first time in a while the other night and while I was into the guy (I'm a girl) and enjoyed it, I was absolutely bone dry vaginally for the majority of it and had to resort to using lube :( I started to worry about it because that's never happened for me before. Maybe I'm having an early menopause? Gah!

There is nothing wrong with using lube. All kinds of things can affect a woman's ability to get wet - OTC meds, the foods you eat, how tired are you, etc etc. And especially if I'm using condoms, latex dries a person out. Plus penetrative sex creates friction (that's why we love it!). That's bound to make for some dryness.

It's way better to just grin, say "Pardon me while I make myself wetter than Six Flag's water park!" then to NOT and have sex be uncomfortable.
