Tumblr color scheme help?

What colors go well with seafoam green as the background color and are good for reading? Or should I ditch something so pastel-y all together?

I would use a color like that as an accent unless you're putting dark text on it.

Do you mean for the text? If so I'd just go with black or a dark brown.

Hmm, if seafoam green is your background color I'd go with a deep green as the text. But I just like the match, so...don't know how other people would feel about that.

(I see nothing wrong with color either, btw.)

I have a pale green for my LJ background color and I use a dark purple for text. No one's ever complained about it and it's how I read my friends page and have had this color scheme for years.

The background is #bff0bf and the text is #663366. Feel free to check out my LJ.

If you post a lot of images I don't think I'd ever go with seafoam. Something desaturated.

Check out colourlovers.com anon! You can search palettes by a certain colour and you'll get a whole bunch of nice combinations.
