Maybe it's because RK was one of the first anime I watched (and truly loved), but I never noticed the animation was bad. (Haven't watched it in forever though, so I might be terribly, terribly wrong about that.)

I want my damn Jinchuu arc animated, damn it.

That's fair, though. Animation today is pretty impressive as well.

The animation isn't too bad but when it is bad, oh boy is it bad. If the right studio made it, like Bones, it would be spectacular.

When they made those movies a couple years back, I was so damn disappointed because they didn't animate the damn Jinchuu arc.

Well...with the way everything is new again, maybe someone will get around to rebooting it sooner or later. I think Kenshin probably deserves it.

Now you've got me kind of wanting it too.

There's been a lot of new Rurouni Kenshin stuff coming out these last few years, so I've got my fingers crossed. Watsuki seems to be milking it for all it is worth..

Ugh, I must've missed the films then. Possibly other stuff. Maybe it's time for a rewatch. (Thanks for mentioning the films! Not sure I've seen those.)

There's two new animated films and there's going to be three live-action films. One has been released and another will be released in August iirc..

I forgot they were doing live action films, though now that you mention it I can remember seeing photos floating around. Is the first any good?

Fair warning, I'm not sure which dub Crunchyroll has. If it isn't the one you grew up with, then you may want to check Hulu and see if it has the right dub. If I remember currently, the series is also on Crackle. You're welcome! It has been a while since I've seen it too so I may end up watching it too.

I've not had the chance to watch it yet tbh. I've heard it is pretty decent as far as live-action adaptations of anime go.

I didn't even think of the dub, but I doubt it'll bother me too much when I get around to it. And if I don't like it I'll try to find a different version or something. (This 'Crackle' is new to me, but now I must explore it.)

I don't think I've ever watched a live-action adaption of an anime before. I know several anime that I've watched in the past have done them, but I kind of always expected them to be unwatchable for whatever reason. Maybe it would be fun to give it a shot.

Oh well, I thought I'd give you a bit of a fair warning just in case. I'm not sure if I'm going to watch the dub or the sub myself. Depends on my mood, I guess. I don't think there's a lot on Crackle. At least there wasn't last time I checked.

A lot of them are apparently unwatchable. Or so I've heard. I've never watched any either. Now I want to just to see how nad some of them are.
