One time I got pulled over for speeding and I was late for work, so I told the cop "sorry, I'm late for work" and he let me off shortly afterwards with a just warning.

Conclusion: cops love people who are late for work.

I was at the airport, where they take speeding super-seriously. Seventeen over the limit? Come on, I was begging for a ticket and I have never had a traffic stop that short.

This was a long weekend! Cops hate people speeding on the long weekends and take it super seriously because so many people drink and party. I've never gotten off with a warning before, or after.
