Sometimes the people hate MLP, and sometimes they hate the other fandom. Your choice of image for this secret is a good example of what I'm talking about-- people tend to either really like Homestuck, or really really hate that its fans get it into everything.

On another note, my first reaction was "OMG NO PONY DAVE'S HORN BREAKS UP THE BIRD SHAPE IN HIS HAIR." My next reaction was "wait, no, Pony Dave's horn is stabbing the bird shape in his hair. How appropriate!"
