Got told by my boss while working on my second assignment for my internship that the questions I was asking meant that he knew he could trust me with the assignment. This was after I came up with things he had missed/hadn't thought of. And got really good feedback on my first assignment. So today was good.

On the bad side, my school hasn't sent me my money yet. So I have $10 in my bank account.

It sucks that you haven't gotten your money yet, but that's really awesome that you're getting that kind of recognition at work, especially with it being an internship. Rock on!

I found out my county has a political group on FB. I am having the time of my life arguing with this idiotic assholes.

Oh man, I would be so terrified to do that. I'd be like "shit, am I gonna run into this person at the market?"

Nah, I don't care about these people (and I don't use a pic of myself :P).

It started out pretty good, I got into a support group with lots of cool activities for people with Asperger Syndrome (yay). But now it's started to suck because I'm getting late anons from that one conversation about the word "autistic" a few days back.

It kind of pisses me off. Someone trying to justify diminishing autism to just "obsessive about stupid things" and justifying using it as common insult. And then being all "wahhh you're rude" because I was a little annoyed when I told them why it was fucked up to do. It also kinda brings back bad feelings, reminding me of being teased a lot and called "retard".

Also....why is this anon contacting me after a three day old thing. Why? Is he going to be trying to justify it a week after the fact.

Ugh. It probably sounds stupid to be upset about this. Maybe I shouldn't have been so harsh in telling him to"fuck off"

and thanks. I technically only know one person there , sorta. He's a neighbor I've talked with at a few parties. He seems nice. and the director of the group said I would fit right in.

That anon is probably trolling, ugh. I reply late to things sometimes, but that sounds more like they are deliberately trying to drag it out. >:c Being upset about it seems reasonable to me.

Went on a field trip with my nephew's kindergartner class to keep him company. He ended up having to share me with not only his class but another kindergartner class.

For example, I walk around holding his hand because I like to know where he is in crowded places that we aren't familiar with. (It is scary how easily you can lose track of a child when you are in a mob of same sized children.) Before I knew it random kids started to come up me asking if they could hold my spare hand as I walked around. So, I had my nephew always with one hand and with the other hand a heavy rotation of random kids who just wanted to hold someone's hand for security. I thought it was cute and never said "no." Because, hey, new places are scary and when you are at that age, it's nice to have a bit of security away from home.

I don't know! I started a new job a couple of weeks ago, and it was made abundantly clear to me today that they think I have more experience in this particular position than I actually have. I have no idea how this came to be. I did not pad my resume; my references would not have lied; and I was honest with my prospective manager in the interview. Yet they all think that I was doing something very different in my last job.

So, my day was kinda weird. Not bad, but...weird. I think it's gonna be an interesting month.

It's decent. Cooled off a bit by the weather.

Started playing the Rise of the Triad remake, which is stupid and hilarious.

I lost it when I started the game up and it gave me an achievement for having the game on max settings.

It was... okay, despite the fact that I didn't actually get anything done all day. I still felt weirdly cheerful for some reason. Maybe it was because of the unexpected free time, idk.

Working on a decently big fandom project right now and I'm really happy I was chosen to help participate in it. :) Not sure how much else I can say about it, but it made my day to start working on it!

Work sucked, but that's not unexpected. 9 days left. I'm beyond happy.

I worked my second job. It's fun, it's easy, and I usually learn something. :)
