How so, specifically? /curious

Well, you see, lots of people on this very thread said they're fine with holding hands, hugging and quick pecks, but everything else is no-go. That means they consider french kissing and up to be inappropriate PDA and making out in public. Around here, heavy making out would be pawing at each other while sucking face and hands inside pants.

Dang. Guess it's a big cultural thing then. I've never heard of "making out" referring to anything beyond mouth-on-mouth action.
