The Tyger by William Blake. I like tigers, and I like the sound of this poem.

Charge of the Light Brigade by Tennyson. Again, one I've loved for so long I can't even remember why I fell in love with it.

Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Coleridge. One of those poems that everyone can quote, but few can actually name. It was Iron Maiden who led me to this.

Dialogue Betwixt Death and a Lady by Deacon. There's just something about the finality of death and how it often comes when we're not prepared to meet it.

The Raven by Poe. Yes, I went there.

"Water, water everywhere, nor any drop to drink" is the line I always remember. Not so much the rest of the poem, but the imagery of Life-In-Death's ship, and Death and Life-In-Death gambling over the souls of the sailors always stick in my memory.
