Part of it is the couple people being uncivil, part of it is the lateness of the hour in my timezone, and the other thing is, I have answered fairly straightforwardly, not "hint[ed] at them but not expound[ed] on them." People seem rather nonplussed, giving extreme examples/responses, or just generally starting to be surly. So where is the dialogue then?

Also: I am not "bowing out" (though I will be soon because I really need to sleep sometime before my alarm goes off) which, if I've given the indication I'm flouncing, that wasn't my intention. It's just fairly clear that I am not on the same page as the majority here, and that's fine, but I'm not about "winning" or "losing" here -- although if I keep engaging with some of the anons/users, it might get to that point. I don't want to be at that point.

Okay, but...with all due respect, you haven't been straightforward. "It works like the book says it does" may seem direct, but that statement is very, very much open to interpretation.

I totally get you wanting to take off for the night if you're in a different timezone, but if you're willing to clear up how you feel before you go, then I'll appreciate and respect it. And that's regardless whether I'll like it or not.

The only thing about your answer to "how do you think sexuality works" that was straightforward was you saying how you believe it doesn't work, and that is hardly an answer.
