Re: Genres you love in theory, but hate in practice

One thing I love about Steampunk costuming is actually the lack of need for accuracy, but then that probably stems from knowing too many people who are deep into historical costume and are super serious about accuracy to the point that they don't even seem to be having fun anymore. I like that people can just pull some things out of their closet, throw in some goggles, and go have a good time.
