Phone anxiety seems to be an oddly common phenomenon! I have it, too (though I seem to have improved a bit since I started anti-depressants). I guess it's the mix between a) not being able to see body language like in person and b) not having time to think over what's been said and take time to reply like in text???

Yeah, it's really the worst of both worlds -- real-time, but not face-to-face.
