That's leaving out some very important and relevant info. Such as Brienne is specifically supposed to be ugly in the books (or at least plain, and it's an important part of her character at least afaik). And such as plenty of not-model-attractive men get roles.

(not saying I automatically agree with OP btw, just think your'e reading an extra lot into it)
