i have no idea what a burnet is but google says it is a london borough which does sound very high maintenance.

i do feel thankful my hair, though. it doesn't ask much of me.

Looooooool! Oh dear, sorry. Yes Barnet is a London borough. It's also a slang term for hair do. Got a bit cockney there for a second, my bad.

i think the mistake was on my part, actually. anyway, no need to apologize. i learned something today. and damn, it's a cool looking hairstyle! i wouldn't have the motivation to do it for myself, but i'm sure you look awesome!

Well then, in the spirit of clarity, I should point out that barnet can refer to both the specific hair style 'the barnet' AND to just your hair in general. I meant it in the latter sense. :) I don't have the patience for a barnet!

I don't know if you'll see this, but I thought I'd chip in anyway. 'Barnet' as regards hair is Cockney rhyming slang. 'Barnet Fair' = hair. :o)
