Does that actor ever play normal joe roles? He always plays the slimiest and/or underhanded characters. Don't get me wrong, he's a terrific actor. I just wonder how he would be in say a romantic comedy and the boy next door.

I think it's Paul Dano? He was the brother in "Little Miss Sunshine" and he wasn't slimy or underhanded in that.

Well, "Ruby Sparks" is a romantic comedy, depending on how you view it. I myself would label his character as underhanded anyway.
