I set my alarm to a soothing tune that gets louder because I am really sensitive to sound and if I use the sort of thing that most people use as an alarm I'd wake up in a panic every morning.

It's been the same tune since 2012 and it still doesn't annoy me.

When I had to use an alarm I set it to a static radio station. Anything else would, as you say, send me panicking. Now I have a quiet chime.

I've got the opposite. My alarm is very loud and sudden and sometimes I STILL don't hear the damn thing. x.x
