Laying out clothes / makeup / whatever helps so much. When I was working early in the morning I always set out my tea fixings and cereal bowl the night before.

It never hurts to be prepared! Even if it doesn't save a significant amount of time (it has at times, other days not so much) I like feeling on top of things, and it helps with that.
