If OP doesn't like Cap than...why the hell do they have an opinion about Bucky? T'would make 0 sense.

Maybe they saw the movie with their friends but don't care for Cap themselves? Idk, but you don't have to like the main character (or any of the characters, really) to see a movie.

Yes, but if that's the case than they are taking offense over character oversaturation in a fandom they aren't part of.

Well, not necessarily... They could like the MCU in general but mostly be seeing the film for Nat, or just to stay in the know. Even if you aren't a big fan of the Cap films, especially if you're into the MCU in general, there's probably going to be some of it on your dash. And if you don't use tumblr, well... Maybe OP's friends are huge Bucky fans.

Granted, they could be into Steve, idk, but it isn't unusual for people to get annoyed by popular characters.
