As much as I enjoy the kinky side of fandom, I agree. I think a lot of people reduce their relationship down to "omg dat face touching so gayyyyyyyyy <3", which is really disappointing. The entire show is built around the complexity of their relationship, and trying to cram it into your standard fandom slash pairing format a la Destiel/Johnlock/whatever the fuck else is doing them a disservice. I'm not on the "bromance/platonic relationship only!" squad by any means, but dude. C'mon.
