Except he hasn't really shown any misogyny since he's tortured more men than he has women, and actually lets the woman he's with top him during sex (as if canon Ramsay would let that happen in a million years). Book Ramsay is a maladjusted psycho with no friends who rapes and abuses literally every woman he comes across, Myranda being there is flagrantly OOC and serves no purpose other more gratuitous T&A. I just find it weirdly sickening that they're trying to make this disgusting, one-dimensional piece of shit character sympathetic. Especially since, once the Jeyne plot happens, none of what he does to her will make much sense given his portrayal on the show thus far.

I'd appreciate the implication more if she had any real power, was a canon character, and wasn't just there for more pointless female nudity and sex scenes. But that's just me.

One-dimensional characters aren't interesting. I think they're trying to make him into a more interesting, realistic character, not make him sympathetic.

Because what the show really needs is more women being brutalised. And how does his not attacking women make him any more sympathetic? He's still the guy who spent an entire season systematically destroying another human being, hunts helpless people, flays men who've surrendered... I'm pretty sure everyone hates him. If you think that the presence of Myranda somehow miraculously renders him sympathetic, that's your problem.
