(sorry for late reply, just returning from vacation)
I don't know if it's specifically fandoms or just general mutual agreement on the games' quality, but Journey seemed to get a LOT more attention and praise than Flower or flOw.

My cynical guess is because Flower was full of the saturated colors more often associated with "kiddie" fare and dismissed by most PS3 owners because of that, while Journey adopted the popular "shades of grime" palette and hooked a wider audience.

From kicking around on gaming blogs, I figured that Journey is the one more easily perceived as a gamey game, as opposed to "art game expression thing what is this why am I feeling emotions", since you play as a person(?) rather than something more abstract, and therefore considered more serious fare as a game. This is the one that thatgamecompany put so much money and time into they went bankrupt (not that most people playing the game would generally know that).

But I also found it uncommon that folk would almost make it a choice between any of their games (eg: "this one rocks, the rest are cocks."), but rather prefer one and still call the rest quality.
