We talk about fic a lot, but what about fanart?

Thing is, most of my favorite fanartists are actually professional comic artists who do fanart for the fun of it. Like Chris Samnee. God, I love his art. (In fact, I have a couple of volumes of Daredevil opened next to me and I was studying his linework a few moments ago.)

I can't really say I have a favorite fanartist. There are pieces I love to death, but 9 times out of 10 the artist ships the characters of that particular fandom in pairings I don't like and produce a lot of work that I'm not interested in, so I'm really only familiar with 1-2 pieces per fanartist.

Geothebio because her art is cute. Reapersun even though I am not really in the fandom much. Stereowire for her porn. Lightonlight for her porny stuff as well. Baywynn as some good stuff.

The only one I'm following is Madhotaru. He's all over the place, but his Screwball series fascinates me. I also think Johnjoeseco is pretty funny.

Jeffery Anderson (sailor energy) is someone who is a big inspiration to me (and a friend). I'd say floatingukuku too but I have no idea where she's gone.

oh, gosh, too much to share it all.

We should have fanart threads with specific categories tho (fandoms, pairing types/themes, colors, moods, etc.) I'd be all over that.

No, sorry...I haven't even seen TWS! (yet.) And I love MCU, but am more likely to look for fic than art in that fandom, probably because it's live-action. And I'm not really into all those dudes sexually, my tastes are...weird

I like euclase (for photo-realistic portraits) and gingerhaze (for hilarious cartoony fanarts)

I love Bilcrist's work, though lately most of what she does for That Hobbit is Thranduil. I loved her stuff of the Durins, and her picture of a steampunk Maedhros is one of the best things ever.
