The Lunar Chroncles

Cinder, Scarlet, Cress and semi-soon to be Winter

Has/is anyone else read(ing) them?

It's been quite a while since I was so excited about a book series, I just started Scarlet yesterday.

I read Cinder and enjoyed it but not enough to read the next books.

Me! I finished 'Cress' a couple weeks ago. 'Cinder' is my favorite, but I've enjoyed the whole series and am a little bit put out that the next book isn't coming out sooner. :p

...And I just realized, looking at your post, that the books are all named after the characters. I don't know how that slipped me, haha.

I haven't, but I heard it's good. What's it about?

I'm waiting for the third book in the Raven Cycle. Maggie Stiefvater stomped my heart into the dirt, set it on fire, then stuck it back in my chest. I kinda love her for it.

It's retellings of fairy tales BUT they're so warped from the popular sanitized tale BUT they're not super grimdark. It's in the future, and it's actually much more entertaining than it appears at first glance. There's a preview of Cinder on Amazon.

I'll check it out. I'm sick of supergrimdark stuff.

I read Cinder and I quite enjoyed it. I haven't moved onto the rest of them yet though.
