IDK, making bad movies might be fun. I heard once Bill Nighy does the Underworld movies simply because he thinks they're hilarious and he has a fun time making them.

Vincent Price made some fairly dubious films in the '60's because they were shot in Europe and Britain and he could spend is off time going shopping for antiques. Sometimes there are other incentives than the quality of the script at play.

Michael Caine made some bad movies because he likes to work and likes to be financially stable. And he was always the best thing about those awful movies so it never seemed to affect him.

I have never seen [Jaws: The Revenge], but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific.
