Re: NEURALIZE ME!
I wouldn't mind having the earlier versions of FFIV erased too, so I could experience the PSP "Complete Collection" version as my first time. That version was basically what the game always FELT LIKE to me, despite the notably crappier translation and graphics on the original.
I was going to say Vagrant Story for the same reasons as the first three (I accidentally made it through the Snowfly Forest without thinking about it a few times, I know it so well by now) except that uhm. The first time I played it and got to the ending, I was pretty much traumatized and although I started the New Game + mode, I spent 99 hours forging weapons rather than beat it a second time.
If I experienced it all again for the first time, I would probably go through that whole "oh crap ... oh crap. OH CRAP. OMG. OMG NO. NO OMG OMG OMG" thing like I did the first time. Which, I mean, that's one reason it's my favorite game. HURTS SO GOOD. Especially when I noticed one little detail the second time through the ending that made everything both better and worse.
Re: NEURALIZE ME!
Was the ending of Vagrant Story super hard or emotional?
Re: NEURALIZE ME!
Yasumi Matsuno has a tendency towards that kind of ending to his games, and I LOVE IT. He is pretty much the reason I enjoy seeing characters I love die, as long as their deaths are fitting and have a purpose. (Icon for reasons. ;))

Re: NEURALIZE ME!
(I should probably read/watch Game of Thrones one of these days, from what I hear. I get the impression I'd be practically orgasmic at something that happens at a wedding... kinda like when I was watching Wrath of Khan with my new-to-Trek girlfriend, and she was crying at the ending and I was trying not to be too obvious that I was grinning widely.)
