While watching an episode of Bones, I found myself fascinated with one of the guest characters, Dr. Jacobs (CDC rep). I'm pretty sure his fans are very few and far between, a point that reminded me of another guest character I enjoyed (Frank from Doctor Who). I've written fic that involves Frank more and might do that for Dr. Jacobs. I haven't decided yet.

So...which infrequent characters in a series do you like/think deserve more stories?

Well, more fanfic, I guess, since they're all from Leverage, and that show's over, but..

Coswell from The Rashoman Job. Poor guy. :(

The chocolate lady from The Boiler Room Job. I don't even know why, but when I saw her holding her book, I just felt bad for her.

Jack Hurley and Peggy Milbank. After they went off together at the end of the Night Out episodes, what happened? Did they stay together? Are they happy together? How many cats do they have? Inspiring minds want to know!

Agree with all of those. Coswell cracks me up and makes me 'awwwwww' so much. SO MUCH.

And Peggy and Hurley are still together and happy and they have upwards of a dozen cats. NOTHING WILL CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE!

I just feel so bad for him, and his roses at the end. D: My headcanon is that Sophie checks up on him after the events of the Rashoman episode. I know it's silly, but a girl can dream, right? |D

They run a shelter for "unadoptable" cats. Trufax.

(I mean, part of Hurley's story is him getting a second chance, you know? So I bet he'd be willing to make a "second chance" shelter.)

Casey the demon in Supernatural, though I'm not sure how much of that was me enjoying the character or finding her gorgeous.

Lanie in Castle, she's a recurring background character but I love her and I'm always disappointed when it's the other forensic scientist doing the science work in an episode rather than her. I also want some screen-time devoted to showing Beckett and Lanie as friends too because fucks knows we get told that they're friends more than we see it.

Nothing against Lanie, but I'm always happy when Perlmutter shows up. Always. He's so snarky and wonderful. I headcanon that he and Ryan became good friends in between the resolution of season four and the pickup of season five. I actually headcanon quite a lot for that period because I was so uninspired by what we actually got.

the van guy from fargo who felt sad for malvo because he only wanted one talkie walkie.
gretchen from breaking bad. i have such a crush on jessica hecht, it's terrible.
mr. friendly from lost was pretty great ("you got yourself a fish biscuit? how did ya do that?"). eloise was also amazing.
the jurassic park kid was awesome as casey on person of interest and he needs to be back next season, along with the other two hacker sidekicks.

May I just say

Curtis Connors??

It baffles me to no end that a character of such complexity gets reduced to your regular supervillain. He's not even a villain. His alternate self is. If we can call a giant lizard "villainous", that is.

I love the 90s' depiction of him. That was one seamlessly made character arc.

I love the Lizard shamelessly.

The West Wing: More Mallory O'Brien (Leo's daughter) and Joey Lucas (with bonus Kenny).

Teen Wolf: Always more Bobby Finstock

Castle: Perlmutter!

TWD: Morgan (and Duane). Dammit I want more happiness.

MFU: So many of the 'innocent of the week'. Like the little farm girl in that SCUBA ep...I wanted to see her actually going to the big city and having a fabulous night on the town with Napoleon, his interactions with her were so sweet and straightforward.

Wesley Weimer thought Solaufein - a character who only appears in the Underdark part of BG2 - was good enough to make a whole mod for. The one thing that bugs me is I see plenty of fic for Kelsey (another mod character), but very little about Solaufein sticking with Charname.

Dwarf mom from House. She had more rapport with him than any other character except Wilson.

Doctor Who: Lorna from A Good Man Goes to War. I want to know more about her and which Doctor she encountered when she was young.
