Yeah, I didn't post here looking for answers or advice. I've had this problem for almost 30 years, and this particular bad flare has lasted for the last three years. No one here is likely to come up with something I haven't tried or at least thought of... was just answering the OP's question about a complaint most people don't think of as a problem. :/

But I do appreciate that people care enough to try.

In fact if I had local friends instead of internet friends, I probably could get a few joints. But I'm an extreme introvert who has preferred online socializing over face-to-face since the days of the local BBSes, pre-internet, so it's not like I have local pot-smoking friends. Just online. -_- I suspect that it would be like when I was prescribed Valium though - it made me so chill about everything that I started getting paranoid whenever I took it because "omg what if something's wrong and I can't tell?!" and it wound up PROMPTING anxiety attacks rather than relaxing me, hahaha.

Eep! I took half a valium once and puked for an hour. Me and chemicals don't really mix. I know my bro-in-law stopped smoking for a long time because it made him feel the same - paraoid and twitchy.

See what happens when you live on the Interwebz? You can't get the good drugs! *snerk*

Oh yeah, I also am overly sensitive to chemicals... I took Nyquil once and was up all night hallucinating. And then there was the time I took a third of a dose of Children's Motrin for anti-inflammatory purposes, and it knocked out the migraine I had and also prevented me from moving from the chair I settled in for the rest of the day. -_-

The Valium... I warned the doctor in advance I was sensitive to chemicals, so he prescribed me the smallest dosage tablet they make. I got home, and instead of taking it like that, broke it in quarters. And could still feel the effects within half an hour, and each time I took it they lasted longer, to the point where I would feel wonky for the next day without taking it at the prescribed times. Given how much that affected me, there was no way I was going to take a HIGHER dose...

Suffice to say I am just looking forward to robot bodies. GET ON IT, SCIENCE.

HA! Yes. At the very least, when can we upload our brains to a hard drive?
