I ship Kuwabara/Kurama so fucking hard, you have no idea. It is my Yu Yu Hakusho OTP. I wish there was more Kuwabara smut in general too. I ship him with damn near everyone.

Hell, I wish there was more Kuwabara fanwork, period. He kinda got the short end of the stick in fandom when it comes to that.

Hah! This reminds me that one of the weirder secrets I've ever submitted was one where I admitted my reason for shipping K/K: because they're both tall.

That's not the real reason, of course, it's actually because I think it's really cute. I cherish the precious few pieces of fan art I can find of them. But... I can't seem to get into YYH smut, for some reason? It's really weird.

There was an artist who drew quite a lot of fanart for the pairing, but their website is dead and like an idiot, I didn't save a lot of that fanart. :( if I were near my comp, I'd share what little fanart I have.

Maybe it is because the characters are underage?

Oh man, I love Kuwabara! Fic-wise you're pretty screwed (it was pretty much all Kurama/Hiei, at least back in the day -- maybe there's been some recent development though). But! There's some lovely fanart and doujinshi to be had, usually pairing him up with Yusuke :Db

Kuwabara is the absolute best. I love all of the guys but he is by far my favorite. Fic-wise, it hasn't changed even after all these years, sadly.

Why are you a hypocrite?

I feel like we're missing info here. Is this character like your one exception? Why are you vocal about not liking porn? Do you dislike it as a rule or are you morally opposed to it? Is there a difference in erotic are or live action? All these can be factors in you liking something you don't typically like.

All in all - people can change, or occasionally like things they don't usually like.

That being said, people's tastes can also just change. It's possible to start liking porn with age. I'm sure you'll have people say "I told you so", but it's not hypocrisy if you're been honest about your tastes changing.

I can... sort of understand you, in that while I say I don't like reading porn much I actually do read it.

But for me it's more an issue of... I don't really read porn in a sexual way, most of the time? I'll skip porny bits in longer fics just because I'm not interested, and for me "it's hot" never EVER trumps characterization. So I don't really feel like I can do the porn squee the way other internet friends do, so I prefer to just say that I don't really read it.

I'm similar...sometimes I'll read it out of curiosity, but mostly I don't, and I don't go looking for it. I don't think I'd ever draw it though.

You only say that you don't like it -- unless you're bad-mouthing people who create or consume porn, I don't see that you're doing anything hypocritical.

At most you're just really, really picky. If you mean you only like or get off on porn you've drawn. But if you're only drawing it as a technical challenge, even that might not apply.
