I just threw away my dinner after one bite because I wasn't expecting to see someone holding a bloody human heart while I was eating. Sorry. I let a lot go but that really upset me.

DA - "not worksafe" refers to nudity and "may contain spoilers" has nothing to do with being triggered or even severely grossed out

"Triggers" are a tricky thing, though - personally I'm less bothered by blood than by mention of mental illness Just saying, where do you draw the line? I get your being upset, I'm just saying you can't really make sure no-one gets triggered ever.

Hi - I'm not the anon who originally complained! Just a different anon pointing out that "nsfw" and "spoilers" are different from gore or other things that upset people. So I can't tell you what the other anon thinks, but I think OP's should use their best judgment and that if someone says they're upset it is correct of case to make the edit, and also that OP could have maybe put the food away for later.

I'm more disgusted that you actually threw away your dinner. Wasteful.

Yeah. It makes me cringe whenever someone mentions throwing away good food.

lol that's where my mind went too. Even as a grown ass adult I always finish my plate or put the rest in a tupperware container rather than throw any out because I'm afraid my grandmother would come back from beyond the grave and slap me for wasting food

Yeah, saving it for later is always the best option.

Or feed the dog. At least somebody eats it.

That doesn't necessarily mean they actually wasted it, I've metaphorically used the phrase to mean "I put it away."

I'm not sure that it's reasonable to expect someone to censor something that aired on one of the Big Four during prime time.

I don't think this is censorship, and I don't think it's unreasonable. Sometimes the OP specifies a warning and the secret ends up in a special section, sometimes case decides he wants to link because it's nsfw or whatever, and sometimes case decides he wants to link it because an anon asks. That's how this place has always worked.

I can get and understand what you're saying, but I think the thing that's getting me is that what gets linked is usually fan-created stuff. This is a still from actual canon that aired on regular TV during normal viewing hours. The impression I get from the anon is that the expectations for the comm might be a little high.
