Yeah, I'm a tad lost on that point. I could give links to posts where very few - if any - gave mercy to POC who messed up.

go read the michael vick posts, he has a lot of defenders who cry racism and say how he served his time and should be forgiven, ect

I didn't say every post. Sure Vick served his time, but no one is obligated to forgive him.

& besides, these are the same people - then again, we're talking about a large site - who will claim how 'disappointed' they are when their white faves slip up but don't really hold them accountable and all is forgotten by the next post.

UGH! Try living in his home state. The people going "Well he served his time, so he should be forgiven. Why do you have to bring that up again?!" is even worse.

I'll more forgive a man getting stupid enough for bringing a gun across state lines and shooting himself in the damn foot (at least it was Plaxico's foot rather than another person), who should not have gone to prison for two years for it, than a confessed, convicted puppy killer, who should have served far more time than he did.

Ha, I actually did! Used to go to Newport News all the time. Weirdly, besides someone wearing his jersey in HS, I never heard much after he was sentenced.

I agree. ONTD can be a very unforgiving place to just about anyone

eh. ontd is pretty hateful of white people and will forgive a lot of POC for stuff. Like when rihanna was in uhhh Taiwan I think and went to some fucked up sex show where a woman was pulling animals out of her vagina. A lot of people were like Lololololo.

But on the other hand they hate white people (esp men) for shit that isn't even true. Like...rumors that have no basis in reality.

In just about every Rihanna post people bring up the time she did the racist "Asian" eyes pose for a camera and Instagrammed a pack of rice cakes with sunglasses to mock Chris Brown's current GF.

Then you must be avoiding nearly any post that deals with race.

No, I hang in quite a few. ONTD is a mix of people who never forget bullshit, weirdo haters, and stans.

There's way more POC on ONTD than here who discuss racial issues though

Fandomsecrets can actually be a really good place for discussion. But I frequent both here and ONTD a lot and ONTD can be surprisingly good when it comes to issues on race, sexuality, and even problems within feminism. Fandomsecrets is more like "all modern feminism suuucks baaw" or "you want more POC representation on tv? SJW! SJW!"
