You waited through 90 minutes of the movie, and then tried to patch together all the quickly cut away from monster shots, and you called that satisfied? You have low expectations and a high boredom tolerance (or you turned up only for the last 15 minutes).

You seem to have odd expectations of a Godzilla movie or are someone who probably wouldn't have enjoyed the first Godzilla movie...

See, there is the problem. You think that most Godzilla fans are fans of the B&W pilot movie. Nah, its the rest of the franchise that grabbed us. The ones that ditched the dreary metaphor and filled the screen with 'splosions and wall-to-wall kaiju battles. Heck, I even loved when Godzilla did the highland fling. Now those are what I expect from a Godzilla movie, the stuff that carried an international franchise, not the ditched suspense and metaphor that only the pilot movie used.
