No. Maybe she never stopped crushing on him, though personally I think she moved on. However, he never had any romantic feelings for her. He found her attracted and lusted a few times, but there were no romantic feelings on his part ever. Their one date was him humoring her because he liked having her as an employee, and it went very badly for many reasons, one of which is that they don't work.

I've never gotten this ship at all.

Though I'm fine with OP liking them, I just didn't see it and think you're right about House never loving her. (But honestly, love of that nature didn't come easily for House, and even when it did it never went smoothly.)

I actually quite liked Chase and Cameron together, but...obviously romances on this show didn't go well for any of the characters.

Yes. I have no problem with people liking what they like, it just never made sense to me. My shipping preferences on the show changed (House/Cuddy to House/Wilson) and then went away when I started hating the show. But this one has never even been on my radar.

I did enjoy Chase/Cameron somewhat. I really didn't like Cameron, but I thought she was most tolerable during the season where they were dating.

Yes, me, too. I wanted to like Cameron, but she was just terrible. The only person I could stand her with was Chase.

I was never a huge Cameron fan either tbh, which sucks because I've since realized I really like Jennifer Morrison. IMO you're right, she was more likable when with Chase.
