I'm still super surprised that there's never been an official Pokemon MMO. Like of all the franchises to adapt into one, that always seemed like a sure fire gambit. I guess it's because of the target age group, but come on. It's been going on for 15 years now. My 27 year old sister just bought a 3DS solely because of Alpha Sapphire (okay, and the new Fire Emblem; but Pokemon was still the breaking point).

You have breeders, collectors, trainers, contest fans... like, talk about your different classes already laid out right there.

I also think an ATLA MMO would be fun. Like full on world traversing with all the nations and their cities. Not sure what enemies would be; they could pull a LoK and have evil spirits? But I guess that'd still be out of sync with the mythology of canon.

(Also I am seeing Little Shop of Horrors tomorrow. Also also, not too interested in the X-Men movie, but really looking forward to HtTYD 2 next weekend.)

I have never even PLAYED a Pokemon game but I would play an MMO.

Also, OMG. So, the day I knew you were going to do your mountain hike I saw on the news that 6 people were missing on a Mount Rainier climb. I was all, "Oh no. Where did Othellia say she was going???" So I had to look back through all my replies to make sure you were not on Mount Rainier!

Oh no! I talked to my dad today and apparently he'd had a similar reaction. The climbs/routes we do in the class are a lot less risky than the one the missing climbers were on (one/two day hikes vs five days; 6000ft mountains vs 14000ft mountains; less avalanche prone slopes vs more avalanche prone).

I'm just glad I found the reply where you told me which mountain you were climbing. Or I would've been trying to hunt you down on the internet.

Well, if I ever worry you in the future for whatever reason - slim chance as that might be - just plug my username into youtube. My roommate and I do the occasional Let's Play together, and I often mention our usernames (Othellia and MissLanna) in the about section. She's on twitter, tumblr, youtube...
