Mostly because I felt the exact same thing. (I've shipped fictional incest before, but not usually parental incest. It weirded me out. I can't help but ship it, though.)
If it makes you feel better, I've seen several other people around here express the same opinion, so at least this isn't an uncommon occurrence.

But yeah, I was shipping really hard, but parental incest isn't something I can really get behind.
And it's not uncommon, but there was that distinct feeling of disappointment when I realized..

That describes the entire ending for me because I just wanted them to not be related and run off to Paris and marry. Obviously that was out of the cards...
