I don't hate him but the scene where the main characters in Fault In our Stars make out in Anne Frank's house as an ~affirmation of life to reclaim to reclaim the house from the horrors that took place in it~ was so goddamn stupid and terrible that I didn't even start reading the book again for several. I don't care what anyone says, it was a ridiculous scene.

I didn't know about that scene, but the one friend I have who loves the book is Jewish, so I guess it's not everyone.
