Work-out Mix?

(Anonymous) 2014-06-09 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey, F!S, I finally managed to go to the gym today after a long time away, and I'm feeling pretty good about it. What's on your workout playlists? I want to find some new, fun music so that the inevitable plateau of accomplishment won't be accompanied by the "bored now" excuse.

There was a secret once, about listening to the Pacific Rim soundtrack while on the elliptical machine. I haven't tried it myself, but I plan on doing so this summer. :D

Zombie Run

Imagine Dragons

Genesis

This playlist.

It's My Life by Bon Jovi

The soundtrack for Rocky

Also Satisfaction is always a good option. Otherwise I listen to techno where every song sounds like the other one.

I don't got my actual workout playlist (I don't know how I would export it) but this one is very close. http://open.spotify.com/user/1229636805/playlist/0PzF76vuZwRttHwOHTTyt5

Fat and Grapefruit Diet by Weird Al.

I think it's funny. Plus they have a good beat.

Anjunabeats collections are really good for doing mindless activity to, because they're usually all good songs, they have a similar upbeat feel to them, and they're mixed so that they lead in to one another seamlessly. I particularly like Volume 6.

Jaytech albums are also really great to listen to like this. My favorite is Everything Is OK.

Sounds like it'd be great for gym if a bit repetitive.
