That's not what I'm trying to say at all. It just feels like instead of letting people find the fic (and all the other fics too) on their own, they cram it at them, which makes the whole process feel stilted and artificial. The fic in question is the best fic in our fandom, hands down, but it is by merit of the author's work, not this person's, but it feels like the person considers it unable to stand alone without being incessantly pimped. Instead of letting people discover fanfic on their own, every post someone makes saying 'I think I'm getting into Show' is met with a reblog summary of the fic and a GOOD NOW THAT YOU'RE HERE, READ THIS AND LISTEN TO IT IT IS THE ONLY NEXT STEP AFTER LIKING THIS SHOW. It just annoys the hell out of me.

That does sound annoying. Just a suggestion, but maybe you could put OP in your subject line to show that you're the secretmaker. Otherwise it gets confusing with all the anons running around.

oh whoops, sorry!
