I'm a little more confused by the use of "superfluous". I happen to like that word but it feels weird here. People who have fun have some sort of purpose that people who don't have fun don't?

And now you know why I was once called a "semantic whore". :D

I guess I can...kinda see it? Like, if you're not into having fun, then maybe you're superfluous in a setting that revolves around fun.

(I don't know why I'm trying to work out the logic in this, ha)
