i think it was a combination of her age, horrible promotion and the general blandness of the first two singles.

I LOVE Into the Blue. And Cancel is perfectly decent. But it does lack a killer single I guess.

Madonna seems to had had similar issues lately. Maybe they should duet, but much as I love them I could see that being a train wreck.
