MRA's are characterized, in part, by demeaning women because they won't sleep with them. I'd say murdering some women because they won't sleep with you fits the bill.

No they aren't. I suggest you stop getting all your information from biased websites.

He was not an MRA. He did not go to any MRA websites or sub any MRA youtube channels. He never once mentioned MRAs or and Men's rights issues in his manifesto.

He was a sick Misogynist but that doesn't make him and MRA.

He was a constant visitor to a site called PUAHate which shared many writers and contributors with A Voice For Men, the main MRM website, which is well-known for being absolutely HORRIBLE about women (the guy who runs the site once wrote a piece about how women who go out and drink and dance with guys are begging to be raped.) One of the writers from PUAHate, who also writes for AVFM, was chosen to write AVFM's response piece to the shootings. So yes, there IS a link between him and the MRM, even if it's a little indirect.

You can characterize them as that if you wish, but technically he wasn't an MRA, and he stuck to PUA boards, and MRA's and PUA's don't get along. If you think of it as a sliding scale, you have:

PUA --- MGTOW --- MRA

"The PUA is all about slamming out as many women as he can, he does not ‘hate’ women in any capacity other than perhaps their occasional stupidity, because women are the source of their notches and their kicks. PUA primary concern is as much sex with as many girls as possible."

"MRA are perhaps the most anti-women, they have a very high distrust of women, and their hatred is palpable."

While MRA's can be described as "hating women", the shooter was more about having sex with them, and getting pissed when he couldn't have sex, so I'd call him a PUA.
