Ha, I was kinda the opposite from fandom at large when it comes to this movie. I was rolling my eyes at all the hype for Bucky/WS before it came out because I didn't gaf about him in the first film and I was more looking forward to Natasha and Sam, so the overwhelming standom for Bucky was grating. Then I saw the movie, still didn't think that much of him (he stressed me out because he was trying to kill everyone), but with subsequent viewings he's definitely become a highlight of the movie for me. Although I'm not as rending my garments as a lot of people can be over him, I feel a lot worse for Steve than Bucky, just on an emotionally invested level as opposed to logically since he has been through more than Steve.

You've gotta be careful with hype, I was left underwhelmed from my first watch of WS but it's grown so much on me now that it's my favourite of the individual MCU movies. [/not helping manage your expectations]
